Charlotte Benz is the mother of two children who inspire her every day. Together they live in beautiful Southern Ireland. Charlotte is a committed Wellness Advocate for dõTERRA essential oils. She is passionate about sharing the life-enhancing benefits of therapeutic-grade essential oils with the world.
Charlotte is a fully-qualified drama and theatre studies secondary school teacher, a trained Tapping practitioner, a Reiki Master, certified aromaTOUCH therapist and is currently training to become a certified Jack Canfield Train the Trainer.
Charlotte is enthusiastic about helping to inspire and empower mothers through life tools she calls Butterflies. Charlotte is also on a mission to educate children to live with passion and purpose, through the medium of original and empowering songs – a project she calls Kaleidoscope Kids.
Charlotte trained in Musical Theatre at the Guildford School of Acting – one of the most highly regarded theatre schools in the UK. Charlotte has performed all over the world in some of the most prestigious venues, including Broadway’s City Center Theatre (the production, Pendragon, won the accolade of the New York Times Critics’ Choice), The Royal Albert Hall, St. James's Palace and Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber’s private Sydmonton home.
Charlotte has also rubbed shoulders with Royalty during her career and appeared in an ITV documentary, Opening Shots, featuring Prince Edward. Performing at Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber’s televised birthday celebration concert with the National Youth Music Theatre, Charlotte was delighted to work alongside Glenn Close and Antonio Banderas. And for some fun trivia, Charlotte appeared on Channel 4’s Come Dine With Me. She wowed fellow contestants with her unique culinary delights and won!
Charlotte has a First Class Master’s Degree in Creative Writing from Bath Spa University College. She was chosen for the Bath Spa Writers’ Anthology with a short story, Perhaps I Was An Angel.
Since graduating from Bath Spa, Charlotte, along with her brother, James G Benz, co-created and starred in the award-winning black comedy musical, Creena DeFoouie. It received rave reviews in London’s West End, the International Edinburgh Festival, Canada (winning the Fan Favourite Award) and Off-Broadway’s oldest venue, The Cherry Lane Theatre. Creena DeFoouie was also selected for the BBC’s Northern Exposures. Charlotte and her brother have since co-created a dazzling musical, Rainbow Grace, for children of all ages. Its debut was in Westport Theatre in the west of Ireland and it has since been performed in the U.K. It has been critically acclaimed.
